Hawaii is arguably one of the loveliest places in the U. S. . Folk flock there for fun in the sun, and also for relaxation and rest, especially during the months that are cold in other bits of the globe. One popular destination for plenty of reasons is Oahu Pearl Harbor, which is about a 30-minute drive west of Honolulu.
Complete with a brilliant history of local royalty and several commemoratives dedicated to the sad events of December 7, 1941, the day the Japanese attacked the US and cemented the US citizens place in WW2 , Pearl Harbor is also, as is all of Hawaii, a place of surprising beauty and astounding views.
Visitors to this wonderful destination will find something to do almost any time of year, as Oahu hosts more holidays than any other state in the United States, and also welcomes those who wish to attend one of several professional sports events conducted throughout the year. Holidays are available during the spring and summer, while sporting events take place all year.
Aside from those events, Oahu is the place to go in the last few months of the year. The end of the year is large wave season for surfers on Oahu’s North Shore, and significant surfing competitions take place in November and December. Whale-watching enthusiasts will prefer to visit during the winter and early spring months, when it is whale-watching season.
Almost all of the excursions offered to guests on Oahu will include the WWII Memorials, North Shore beaches, and the Dole Plantation Tours. The entire area is stunning, there is excellent, scrumptious food to be found, and, of course, there is the sun. Oahu Pearl Harbor is undeniably a pleasant area to spend time.
